Imitrex Review

I have suffered from debilitating migraine headaches for many years.  In the past I was unable to take most medications because the migraines make me nauseous.  Imitrex has changed my life.  I used to have to go to a dark quiet room , take medicine and try to sleep off the headache.  Immitrex works more quickly if I lie down, but it is not necessary if it doesn't work after the first dose, you can take another dose.  Ibuprofen may also be taken along with Imitrex.  I used to lose days out of my life because of migraine headaches, now usually in about twenty minutes I am ready to face the day.  Immitrex also is available in a generic form and I have not found any difference between the generic and name brand.  Imitrex may also be taken by injection, but my physician recommended that the first dose be given in the doctor's office in case the blood pressure dropped which could cause fainting or any other side effects.  The oral prescription works great for me with no side effects.
