Ikea - Schaumburg (Chicagoland), IL Review

I visited the Schaumburg Ikea, because I've heard so many people say how wonderful it was. Someone also mentioned tbat it was one of the largest in the US, so I HAD to go. I was very disappointed. First, yes it is large, but it also isn't organized. While most stores have a consistent flow, Ikea jumps all over the place with no discernable pattern that can help you find what you're looking for. There were times I felt completely lost. Of course, the messiness could have played a factor in that. Tablecloths were thrown everywhere. Blankets were in kitchen items. And there was no one around to maintain the store or assist customers.

With that said, I didn't have that problem at the Ikea in Bolingbrook. Everything was orderly, and people were there to assist if needed. I purchased a desk, utensils, and artwork. Besides the fact that assembly of the desk was time consuming, I was very happy overall. Definitely go to the Bolingbrook Ikea instead of Schaumburg.
