When we go on vacation, we like to carry our own milk and drinks from home because it is more economical than purchasing items along the way at convenience stores. Several days in advance of our trip, I start collecting ice from our icemaker so that we don't have to purchase that either. Most motels have little refrigerators in the room now, so when we get to our destination, we pour out the ice and use the refrigerator for our food until the morning we leave and then we use the ice the motel provides to fill the ice chest again. One year while in Santa Fe, New Mexico, we ran across Socorro, New Mexico green chili. The vendor roasted them and we purchased zipper bags, divided all the chili up into bags, packed them on ice and brought them home. We would be lost without bringing this ice chest along. We never know what it is going to be hauling home, though it is always something tasty. I highly recommend this ice chest. It is sturdy and we really appreciate the wheels so we don't have to carry it.

My son and his wife and my husband love to go tailgating on game day. My son and his wife attended the same college and they don't miss a football game if at all possible. They carry almost anything you can think of.I think that the most important thing that goes with them is the Igloo Wheelie Cooler. The Igloo Wheelie Cooler is always packed to the top with ice, drinks,and cold cuts or anything that is parishable. This is a thirty-eight quart cooler so it can hold a good amount of perishables.When the Igloo Wheelie Cooler is full it is rather heavey so the wheels are wonderful. They prevent a lot of extra work or back brake. This cooler is a very durable one.I have to say that the young people are not careful with this cooler and we have had it for about two Football seasons and it has held up very well so far. I highly recommend the Wheelie Cooler to any one.It is a great cooler.

I love the Igloo Wheelie Cool 38 qaurt cooler ! My boyfriend and I travel alot of short trips and this cooler does the trick. We fill it with alot of food and drinks and it always stays cool. If we go on a picnic, the beach, or need to walk thru a park grounds to a grill , this cooler wheels right along. It is sturdy and stron and easy to clean. It is a great price too and you really get your monet's worth. Yes , the wheels could be a bit bigger for sand or dirt areas but all in all works well. It fits in the back of our car easily eniough and is like a refrigerator on wheels. I love it and would recommend it to my friends and family. I would be at a loss without this especially during the summer months when we travel. I give it FIVE stars!

This inexpensive cooler is a good buy for the money. When filled with ice, it will keep your items cold for about 5 days in moderate temperatures. It seemed the the ice will stay formed for 2 to 3 days, then the water will stay freezing cold for the next few days so that your food will not spoil. I originally purchased this because it has wheels and a handle for easy transport. The only downfall is that the wheels could be a little bigger for slightly easier movement. The lid is easy to open, just make sure that it is shut all the way after each use. It is easy not to notice that the lid is not completely shut - something that really has to be paid attention to. Overall, a good value for the money.

My whole family loves the Igloo Wheelie cooler. It is great for parties, picnics, as well as small events. It keeps things cool and fresh for hours. It is very sturdy and durable yet amazingly lightweight. The handle and the wheels make it easy to move around, to carry, and the handle slides back down so that the cooler fits easily in the trunk of the cars. My only problem with this cooler is I wish it has a little bigger handle that could maybe slide out from the existing handle so that I do not have to bend too much when moving it around. The wheels are great as they are, they move easily and do not lock. When not in use, I use it store the paper plates, cups, napkins, flatware etecetera that we need for picnics. So in this way it serves a dual purpose in our house. We have been using it for 8 years now and it is still going strong. We do not see any need to replace it. It also stores easily in any closet and does not occupy lot of space.

When it was time for us to replace our big cooler, I was intrigued by the Igloo Wheelie cooler. I love the long handle and ability to pull a heavy cooler full of goodies! Especially since I usually have more to carry and kids in tow. The Igloo Wheelie also has classic style handles so you can easily carry it in the traditional manner, too. It is strong enough for kids to sit on, which is nice. I have cleaned ours with a magic eraser and it looks new even after three years of heavy use! Also love the drain hole and plug, it is so nice to be able to drain water and melted ice easily. I have recommended this cooler MANY times and have yet to meet someone who is unhappy with theirs. My only disappointment is that it is not a wee bit bigger inside. That said, it has rarely been unable to hold all I need it to hold. Maybe a second Igloo Wheelie is needed, which wouldn't be such a bad thing! Igloo makes a great quality cooler and the Igloo Wheelie is no exception!

In my experience Igloo typically makes good quality coolers.  This product lives up to thise exact standards.  Overall, this cooler is one that is well worth the money.  I would say it is inexpensive for the quality and features provided by this cooler.  For example, putting wheels on the cooler might be one of the best investions besides the wheel itself.  Actualy, I would not buy a cooler without wheels as they make the journey from the car to its destination easy on the back and arms.  Igloo has done a fine job designing this cooler.  The wheels seems sturdy and roll easily.  Also, they seem to be able to hold the weigh no matter how much is inside the cooler.  I haven't had mine all that long so I cannot say i have put ti to the test, however, it seems very well constructed and should last a lifetime.  Overall, if you are looking for a solid, well built, inexpensive cooler this is the cooler for you.

The Igloo Wheelie Cool 38 Quart Cooler is a great, hardy little cooler.  It has weathered several cross country trips and even more day trips.  I love that it has a handle and wheels on it.  It is my favorite thing about the cooler.  When you are trying to carry a bunch of stuff, it's great to have a cooler (typically a very heavy item) with wheels.  I can help my husband load and unload because this cooler has wheels.  Prior to owning this cooler, I would have to wait for him to come and help me with packing.  Now, because I can wheel this around, I'm able to help more.  The cooler does keep food cold and most Igloo products do.  The only thing about this product that I don't like is that the bottom of the cooler is narrower than the top.  This makes it a little tricky to pack it tightly.  We just do the best we can and fill the rest of it in with ice cubes.  Even with this minor problem, I still love it!

I've used this cooler for camping, and the wheels are fantastic for this. But we've also used this cooler while in our backyard during a BBQ. All the drinks, and ice go in the cooler while we sit around with family and friends. It can easily be wheeled along the patio or over to our friends home filled with food and drinks. We love our cooler. It is very sturdy. Another great use I've found this past summer is when I'm canning the fruits of the season. I purchase boxes and boxes of tomatoes from the local Farmers Market. I put the tomatoes on boiling water after cutting an "x" into the skin, I boil for 20 seconds, and then remove the tomato from the boiling water. Then tomatoes are then placed in the cooler with ice and icy cold water. This stops the cooking of the tomato, and holds them all so until I can get them all ready for the next step of removing the peels, squeezing for tomato juice, and then making them into canned tomatoes. I love my cooler.

My entire family loves the Igloo Wheelie Cool 38 Quart Cooler. It's perfect for any situation that you would use a cooler for. Since it's on wheels, you avoid lugging a heavy cooler around. In my opinion, it's a genius invention. There is plenty of room for beer, sodas, bottles, cans, covered dishes, ice, etc. We've never had any problem with ours and we've wheeled it over many different types of terrain: dirt, gravel, grass, rocks, concrete, etc and the wheels have held up very well. Only downside is that the wheels could be a tiny bit bigs to aid in ease of pulling, but this minor hang-up is certainly no enough reason to dissuade you from purchasing this cooler. All in all, the Igloo Wheelie Cool 38 Quart cooler would make the perfect holiday, birthday or anytime gift. It's a gift that your recipient can use the whole year long. It's durable, inexpensive and makes life (and camping!) so much easier.
