I'm the first to say I hate instant mashed potatoes until I tried this brand it is smooth creamy and does not have that artifical taste as other instant potato products seem to carry.I am not  a big fan of bacon bits in my potato but there is a small amount in this flavor so with all the flavors blended I didn't seem to notice a strong taste of them and really like them.

I cooked these for easter dinner last year,and my mother and law couldn't believe they were instant,she hates instant too!! Idahoan potatoes comes in a variety of flavors and has earned "The Chef'sBest award for "Best taste overall" among leading proffessional chefs..."

I like this variety for a quick side dish,add 2- cups boiling water stir done.Great for hot days,days when you need dinner in a hurry.Or just a plain good old side dish for family dinner.My littest son refers to these potatoes as the no-lumps version,I though that was cute :) One time I had small chunks of potato in my regular homemade mashed potatoes and he didn't care for that.
