Icy Hot Medicated Patch —

Icy Hot Medicated Pads are a LIFESAVER for me.  I suffer from chronic back pain, and occasional neck and shoulder pain.  Unfortunately, when I spend a significant amount of time on the computer (which is almost everyday) it really irritates my shoulder and neck pain.  I've tried heating pads, muscle relaxers, ice packs, etc., but they only helped out a little.

Last week I purchased a box of Icy Hot Medicated Pads because they were on sale.  I've tried Icy Hot gel before and it works really well, except I hate getting that stuff on my hands!  And trying to rub it into your own muscles isn't the easiest thing in the world to do.  So, when I saw the pads, with the medication already on them, I was hoping it would relieve some of the discomfort.  IT DID!

Icy Hot Medicated Pads come in different sizes.  I purchase the Large or Extra Large size, because I want to not only work the area that is hurting, but also the area around it.  The box contains three, individually wrapped pouches.  Each pouch has one of the pads and it has a plastic seal on the back.

When you are ready to use one of the pads, you remove one of them from the pouch and then stretch it slightly.  This releases the plastic seal and activates the Icy Hot Medication on the pouch.  You can smell it when it activates.  When you're ready, you just press it on like a band-aid to the area that is hurting.  And you can immediately feel the Icy Hot start to work.  And it works (IT REALLY WORKS) for a full eight hours, and I think even longer.  I like to put mine on before bed to help me relax and ease the pain.

You could use the patch during the day to help prevent the pain, however, there is an odor of Icy Hot and it would be noticeable.  If I was at home, though, I would use it.  It helps out immensely.

The Icy Hot pain-relieving ointment is on a breathable adhesive pad that moves with you.  It sits comfortably on your body, and doesn't feel big and bulky.  It is a lot like a very large bandage.  It temporarily relieves minor pain associated with:

   arthritis
   simple backache
   bursitis
   tendonitis
   muscle strains
   Sprains
   bruises
   cramps

If you suffer from muscle pain, or any of the above ailments, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product.  You can find Icy Hot Medicated Patches at any drug store or department store.  For a three pack, you can expect to pay around $ 8.00.  A small price to pay for pain relief!

My best friend has a mild case of Scoliosis and she loves these and one another brand that has a velcro wrap that you use. I can't bring the name to memory right now but both sound good! ~Gigi

Ouch. I can really relate to this topic. I don't use the pads, but I do use the IcyHot roll-on when my shoulder and neck aches get too bad.
