review »Ice Age - Ray Romano is certainly the voice to have for the big animal. I could have imagined Robin Williams as it, but Romano certainly lends humor to where this film really NEEDS it. The first part before it even gets going is that loveable, what do you call him character that just has to push that egg nut all the way around kingdom come before he even gets to eat it. AND when he tries to eat it - IT"S TOO HARD! So he tries to heat it. And what does it do, POPS! If this isn't comic relief, what is? My wife and I were hysterically laughing right from the beginning. review »I saw the trailers for Ice Age and made plans to see it. I was taken by the quality and depth of the story behind it.
Children of all ages will find this movie captures their attention and holds them spellbound. The characters include a woolly mammoth, a sloth, a saber tooth tiger, and a small human child. Together, this small band comes together to return the child to his father, with many funny incidents along the way. It is a tale well crafted with many twists and a few tears, as it goes on to redefine the concept of family.
