The games are free, fun, and you don't have to download anything other than the standard Shackwave Player (needed for most everything).  The site does have ads running, but they don't interfere with your game play until you've played about 15 games straight (and then they go away within a minute or so).  Although I've never actually won anything on their site, a friend of mine has. About 3 years ago, she won $10,000!  While playing games, you earn points.  For most games, you do not spend your points to play-the site gives about 1000 credits per game (whatever you win is yours to bank).  Then, you can cash in your points for entries into one of their sweepstakes.  They run daily, weekly, quarterly, and annually.  The longer you're willing to wait (say, for the quarterly drawing) the more rewarding it can be (larger prize payout).  While playing the games, they also have a live chat going on.  If you absoluetely don't want to see it, you can even turn it off.  It's a fun time and can be rewarding...you just have to hit it right.
