Iolo System Shield may be the least expensive AntiVirus and Antispyware available to the public and it clearly confirms that you get what you pay for. This was a last minute purchase when I was caught in between paychecks and my annual antivirus had expired. I bought it for a temporary fix which could be downloaded promptly. I have learnt my lesson and not make the same mistake twice. Part of the reason that this software sells so low is that you are receiving partial protection. Consumers are immediately urged to update the product by buying the complete package which, of course, cost a substantial fee. If you contact customer service, they are not very understanding and will try and urge you to buy the recommended update. Note: prior to buying there is no mention of having to upgrade or update and spend more money. The whole experience was time consuming and costly. This is one product that I do not recommend nor stand behind. Detection Rate No way as precise as Norton or McAfee. Did not have the trust in this product that it would keep my computer safe. Ease of Use Partial download of product and than consumer is urged to pay for full version. Availability of Updates Pay for updates.
