Insanity Workout System

This is a very high impact workout that will have you gasping for air. Shaun T. is a awesome fitness instructor who will keep you motivated throughout the entire workout. This workout system is pure cardio with added body weight moves incorporated throughout several of the dvds in the kit. I had to personally modify 90% of the workout moves throughout this workout. I did not find this to be a huge issue for me since I was aware this would be a fast pace workout. During my workout sessions I had to take several breaks to catch my breath and rest. I always keep a bottle water and towel handy every time I workout to Insanity. I did not follow the workout plan exactly because I knew it would be too much impact on my body. My clothing is fitting better than it had before starting this workout. I have lost several pounds as well but with that being said I do rotate my daily workout routines. This workout kit includes 10 workout dvds, workout calendar and nutrition guide. This is a great workout and overtime I am sure I will be able to keep up with Shaun T. during my workout.

It's called Insanity for a reason!

I LOVE Insanity. It's Insane. [See what I did there...haha] This set of DVD's are definitely challenging but it's completely worth it. You WILL hate/love the instructor. You WILL want to fall over and lay in the floor crying. You WILL be sore. You WILL see results. The workout system comes with a nutrition guide, workout calendar and 10 DVD's. You don't get bored doing the workouts because you are constantly changing workouts depending on what is on the calendar for that day. The instructor is great [and really nice to look at...!] and encouraging. It's almost like he is talking directly to you. He is also encouraging to the other people featured in the videos. One thing I like is you can sometimes see the people in the video [who are in great shape] even struggle a little with the workout, which makes me feel a little better. The only complaint I have about the DVD system is the high price of them. If you are on a budget I wouldn't exactly recommend them. They are cheapest on amazon though. Overall, I recommend this product. You will get results if you stick to the 60 day plan set out by the company. Just be prepared to work very hard!

This workout is for fit 20 year olds, not 59 year old overweight men. However, if you can commit and I mean commit! it will change your life. When I started this program back in July I was 5'8" tall, 190 lbs, on high blood pressure medicine, pre diabetic and some lousy blood test results. It took me six weeks to be able to get through an entire workout, so I did the first month an extra 2 weeks. After about 3 weeks you get addicted and start seeing some real results. By the end of the program (it took me 11 weeks and didn't miss a day). End results.. Lost 30 lbs, off of high blood pressure medicine, all blood work including glucose, cholesterol, and many other, all in normal good range. Diet is just as important as work out as "a great work out can't beat a bad diet." I recommend going gluten free (read "Wheat Belly") and Ultramet chocolate as a recovery drink. It taste great and is cheaper than what beach body pushes. I took 3 months off, doing the program 3 days a week to maintain and have just started my 2nd round. Should be much easier, as I'm 30 lbs lighter and also implementing weight resistance training 2 days a week. All my friends are overweight or obese. They can't believe my results. Ya... I got the T shirt!

Insanity Workout System

This is by the far the hardest workout I have EVER done! It is 40-50 of pure cardio with short 30 second rests in between exercises. I am just a few days over half way through the 8 weeks. This is not a workout for everyone. It is intense and involves a lot of jumping and pushups. If you have bad knees or bad wrists then this is not the workout for you. Shaun T is very motivating and inspiring and really does a great job of keeping you going. The people in the videos are also very inspiring. You will sweat a lot and need plenty of water to get through the workouts. And you will have to be extremely self motivated because it is very easy to want to quit. You will get results if you stick to it and really push yourself. You might not get those 6 pack abs or those ripped shoulders, but you will be much better shape than you were before you started. This is definitely the most in insane workout I have ever seen anywhere, it lives up to its name!!

My favorite workout system

I absolutely love the Insanity workout system. It's without a doubt hands down my favorite workout system. I got this workout at first because I wanted to try and accomplish something I didn't think I could do. I had heard so many people saying how tough and insane this workout truly was, they were right. This workout is hard, intense, high impact and insane but I love it. It really pushes you and in return you get amazing results. I love Shaun T and think he is an amazing trainer. He pushes you but at the same time helps and supports you. I would recommend this workout to anyone who really wants to push themselves to the limit. After completing this program I noticed pounds lost, inches lost and increased stamina and endurance. I also noticed because of this program all my other aspects of fitness improved especially my running. I can't say enough good things about Shaun T and this program. It truly is my favorite workout and changed my life. I am proud to say I have finished Insanity and can't wait to try it again for a second round.

Insanity: Serious Workout

This is not for everyone, but if you like an intense body workout, you got it here. I bought the workout for its 90 day body transformation. I have been using it for about 6 weeks and can really tell the difference. It is hardcore! I wouldn't recommend it for beginners or for those with with joint issues. It is not low impact or just stretching. It takes you to the max and builds muscle and resistance. I am truly feeling and looking better. You have to be committed to this type of exercise plan for it to work, but, Insanity will work for you!

Great Way to Lose Weight

I absolutely love the Insanity Workout System. Although it's really hard, it's great to leave a workout feeling like you gave your all during your exercise. These workouts are around an hour long, which is sometimes hard to fit into a busy schedule, but if you stick with it, you will see results. These DVDs do not use any type of exercise equipment. You have to rely entirely on your body weight for the exercises. They mainly consist of cardio, but they are extremely effective and leave you sore after the workout. There is an exercise schedule that comes with the workout. This makes it very easy to know what workout you have to do on what day. It's also good because you don't get bored doing the same exercises each day. There is always something new on the DVDs. Sean T, who leads the exercise, is a great motivator. He gives you tips on proper form and motivates you to continue during the hard parts of the DVD. The setting is no frills; it's just a gym with some VERY fit people doing the exercises. They definitely help motivate you to want to look like them if you continue to do Insanity.

Insanity is RIGHT

Insanity is the best name for this program. You get insane results and you go insane doing the workouts. You can see your results at the end of the first week. I did the program just for fun and fun is not what it is. You have to be truly dedicated to complete this program. I have one week left and I am going to go crazy. My mother see me doing the workouts everyday in the living room and all she do is shake her head. I Highly recommend this program for people who are looking for quick weigh lost the right way. You're getting healthier and getting a nice and toned body. Who doesn't want to be fit and say "I completed Insanity" the hardest workout DVD ever made. Water breaks are given throughout the DVD. You stretch. Working on interval training and getting a good core workout. You have a warm up and cool down. Also you get a week off "recovery week" When you reach that you feel unstoppable. I have almost every workout program by beachbody and this is the most effective

a workout for someone who really wants to sweat

I love this workout, but would not recommend it for someone just starting out, or someone who is unwilling to really push themselves. Because it is an at home workout, and because it is a very difficult workout, it would be easy to just not really do it. However, if you are looking for a difficult workout, that you are going to feel the next day, and believe me, you will, this is the workout for you.

Best workout I have EVER DONE! Kicks your butt, but in a good way! :) This workout is not for those who need to lose a lot of weight, it is more of a workout to get toned and increase your endurance. Before insanity, I couldn't even run one mile without stopping. Now, I'm running 4 miles comfortably! I didn't lose a lot of weight, but I can see results and I sure can feel it! If you're up for a challenge, try this workout! It's TOTALLY worth the money! :)
