IKEA Duvet Cover —

Bought a "BRUNKRISSLA" duvet cover in red for my full/queen down comforter, also from Ikea.  Loved the big sqares and the colors matched my room really well.  Unfortunately, I get it out of the package to put it on and all I see at the bottom is a big hole (about 4 feet long) for the duvet and NO FASTENERS OF ANY KIND!  Just raw fabric edges.  I figure maybe they packaged it before it went through the final assembly or something so called the store.  They tell me that the Brunkrissla style is just like that, it is not defective.  I say, so I have to sew snaps on to finish it myself?  The girl apologizes and seemed surprised to find out there are no fasteners (after spending some time on hold while someone checked).  Anyway, I am keeping it because of the colors but have to spend my precious time sewing on snaps now to finish Ikea's shoddy finishing work.  Even the cheapest duvet covers at Ikea (the plain, one color cotton) have snaps at the bottom!  So WTF???

I am going to write a letter to "Ikea Corporate Headquarters" which she gave the address for: 9930 Franklin Square Drive, Baltimore, Maryland 21236, Attn: Customer Relations

But, I doubt they will care.  Now I know why they have all those signs saying "don't open the packages".  They are hiding ALOT of nasty secrets!
