IKEA Sultan Dromma Crib Mattress Review

IKEA is where I purchased my Leksvic Crib, so I bought my crib mattress there too.  IKEA offers several different mattresses to choose from, but I decided on the IKEA Sultan Dromma Crib Mattress.

IKEA says that this mattress fits all of the baby cribs that they sell, so that takes the guess work out of measuring if you buy your crib at IKEA too.  The mattress comes in three different sizes including 27 1/2" x 52" which is the most common crib size. 

The IKEA Sultan Dromma Crib Mattress is the only crib mattress IKEA sells that is a spring mattress; all the others are made from polyurethane foam.  I bought the IKEA Leksvic Crib which converts to a bed, so I wanted the IKEA Sultan Dromma Crib Mattress so that I wouldn't have to buy a separate mattress, when it comes time to use the bed.

The mattress is pretty firm which is recommended for newborns.  I haven't had any problems with it since my son has been using it for 14 months.  The IKEA Sultan Dromma Crib Mattress sells for $69.99, which is the most expensive crib mattress they have, but it is also the only spring mattress.  I would definitely buy this mattress again.
