For me, going to Akia is like a child going to Toys R Us for the first time.  From the minute you enter the parking lot, make the treck into the front door, it's exciting.  The smell of their wonderful foodcourt permiates your nostrils the instant you enter the door.  They have a wonderful, secure... review »

The store has great products at great prices but I feel i am being herded from department to department making sure I see every product.  It's hard to get in and out quickly to pick up a single item or two due to the traffic lines painted on the floor.

Since opening IKEA is a fun place to shop. What I really like is that they have actual rooms with products set up. The store is huge, I am not sure of the actual footage but their are two levels including a nice cafe. I will review the cafe first.

I am a vegatarian so it it nice to have meals that I can eat. They have great deserts I like the almond cake. To wash down the meal try the lingonberry tea its pretty good. My wife who is a carnivor, enjoys the salmon and the meatballs. You can also get a cup of meatballs for a dollar at the snack bar. I also like the cinnamon rolls. You can get a roll...

We just got an IKEA store and let me tell you.....there is something for everyone.  And that something is going to be cheaper at IKEA than anywhere else.  IKEA is a mega store of housewares and furniture.  You could put together the entire inside of a house together just from IKEA alone, from the floors to the artwork, from the faucets to the spoons.

IKEA is a self-service store in which you pretty much have to help yourself.  You pick up bigger items at the end of your shopping experience and take them home and put them together at home.  I find directions for these items to be easy to understand...

I love Ikea.  There is so much to see and so many ideas that i leave with.  thier displays are great.  the first time you go plan on spending awhile to get through everything and I would recommend brining a bottle of water.  Once you are finished with upstairs you have all the great stuff downstairs and of course you can have lunch there.  Oh and don't forget the chocolate it is the best.   The only thing you have to remember is that you have to assemble things yourself.  I bought a huge entertainment center for a great price, but it took a while to get it all together.  I looks great...

I love IKEA and am so excited they opened a store in Portland. They always have great prices and unique items that I like to decorate my home with. IKEA has always been crowded so avoid going there on the weekend. They have great kid things. If you have kids or have friends with kids, you'll find lots of things here. I love the kitchen section! The store is huge and I love to browse.

I was so excited when IKEA finally came to Portland!  I have purchased several IKEA products online, but it's not the same as getting to experience the showrooms at the store.  It was nice to have the restaurant available, but the food looked like it had been sitting there all day.  And, only one person was there to cashier.

Ikea is perfect for someone like me.  I like to go wander around stores for hours looking at everything.  I like to be helped when I ask for it, not asked if I need help every 2 seconds.  There is so much to see and do, I love the food, and its so affordable.

When I first moved out I didn't have anything so I went to ikea, I pretty much found all my kitchen and bathroom stuff there for really cheap. Really great deals on most things and you can find some pretty cool stuff at ikea. Ikea also has amazing meatballs!
