We looked EVERYWHERE (okay, a little exaggeration) when selecting a crib for our baby. Lucky for us there's an IKEA in town and, although they only had a few to chooses from, we found the Heremlin crib, which we bought and have loved ever since. We like clean lines and this one fits the bill. There are no scrolls, flowers, or ornamental details on the crib or the legs, and we really like that. The color is blue, which may be a turn-off for some parents, but it fit our decor perfectly. And it went together quite simply, as all IKEA products we've purchased do. We are pleased with the quality and like that it wil convert to a toddler bed later. And at only $129, we are satisfied with the price...especially because several of the other modern-looking cribs are several hundred dollars. IKEA fits our lifestyle and our design style, so this was a perfect fit for us. The only downside that we've found is availability in the store, which is happens on occasion at IKEA. We made the drive twice to purchase the crib and it was in store the second time. And because IKEA isn't in every city, it may not be available to everyone (they don't ship all items, either). Overall we're very satisfied with the IKEA crib and hope that we'll continue to be when we convert it to a toddler bed.
