Ok monitor, great base.
This 20 inch monitor created by IBM is a really heavy unit, almost as close as a CRT. However, it is one of the early models of an LCD monitor, and as such it does have some dated components in there. The quality isn't as sharp as the monitors today, nor does it have the high resolution provided by a LED 20 inch monitor today. Still, it isn't a bad monitor, and the colors are really accurate. The grayscale is close (unlike today's LCD which have gray as black, or black as gray) and the colors aren't bad either. The base is definitely topnotch: it can swirl around 360 degrees with no issues (except for cables), and you can move the monitor's height easily despite the heaviness of the monitor. Overall, it's a nice monitor to have, but there are better ones out there now.
