I was finally able to save up the money for this much talked about box set of "I Love Lucy," which includes the much talked about "I Love Lucy Movie" which was filmed but never released.

First of all, this box set includes all 6 seasons of "I Love Lucy" plus the 3 seasons of "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour," which some say is an extension of the original series after it ended. In addition to owning this classic and much beloved series, an important reason to get this is because it includes one episode in color! I am only halfway through right now (it takes a lot of time to watch that much Lucy) but I always look forward to getting to see the extras at the end of the disc. I love watching for the flubs that they show you later, and I have actually caught a few on my own! Lucy's comedy is still funny today, and this set is great for a light-hearted afternoon of tv watching.

I love lucy! I really do! It is absolutely positively hilarious! And there's nothing dirty about it! Kind of makes me wonder why we ever changed from those days, although this show is the one that started pushing the envelope. Hmmmm maybe I'm less of a fan now. They got the beds pushed together and had a baby....

"I Love Lucy" is my favorite tv show of all time. The first episode I ever saw was when Ricky and Lucy do the tango with a blouse full of eggs! I've been hooked ever since. This show is fun for the whole family to watch together. Check it out - you'll be glad you did!
