Hyundai Tucson - 2007 Reviews

Our Tucson was purchased in July 2007. Hyundai had a rebate and that was one of the reason I was drawn to look at the vehicle. We wanted a smaller SUV in hopes of better gas mileage and still have plenty of storage for travel. We compared the Tucson to several other smaller SUV and a few crossovers prior to buy. We had to keep in mind the cost and go over the pro and cons with each vehichle and determine a few added luxuries we could do without which one was a sunroof. THE SOUND SYSTEM ON THIS PUPPY IS AMAZING.  I mean Jeep Liberty, Toyota RAv 4, Nissan Exterra, Ford Explorer Sport Trac I've owned all these cars in the last 4 years brand new and there is no competition.  Hyundai Standard Sound System is amazing. This little compact SUV fits my lifestyle so well!  I have two boys who fit comfortably in the back seats...one who is a long legged lanky teen.  Their comfort was important for family vaccations and other long distance travel.  I also travel regularly with a friend to dog shows...we can fit two medium dog crates and show gear into the Tucson.  The gas mileage is great...I believe it's rated at 26 miles to the gallon but I have been getting 29-31 mpg!  It is not a luxury vehicle by any means...good for a budget conscious person with an on the go lifestyle! … read full review »

I love the feel of my new Hyundai Tucson.  It has a great safety rating with a 10 year  powertrain warranty.  It is roomy and the driver's seat can be moved in almost any position.  The gas mileage is good.  — — The only con I have found so far, was to be sure that the gas cap is clicked at least 3 times, otherwise, check engine light can come on. —… read full review »

I drive for a living using my own vehicle. Purchased a Tuscan end of 6/08. Have 9,000 miles on it. No problems so far. Not as comfortable as the Santa Fe.
