Our Tucson was purchased in July 2007. Hyundai had a rebate and that was one of the reason I was drawn to look at the vehicle. We wanted a smaller SUV in hopes of better gas mileage and still have plenty of storage for travel. We compared the Tucson to several other smaller SUV and a few crossovers prior to buy. We had to keep in mind the cost and go over the pro and cons with each vehichle and determine a few added luxuries we could do without which one was a sunroof. We also went with the Hyundai because of the location of the dealership which would allow us easy access to repairs and up keep.

Overall we are very satisfied with the Tucson. The gas mileage is only 20mpg in the city. Both cloth interior and exterior are charcoal in colar. Sleek and stylish. Seperate window opening for back hatch. Rear seats fold down flat and the rear seats also recline which is great for a sleeping child or to just relax. Storage space is pretty good for the size and we were able to packs lots of things in it during our last trip to Florida. Luggage rack smaller but you can still store several suit cases on top in a colapsable luggage storage container.

My only complaint so far is one of the wind deflectors has came off but something that will be easily fixed by the dealership next week.

For the price I would recomment this vehichle to anyone looking to spend anywhere between $18-21k for a small suv.
