I bought my car on the recommendation of my son who is a Honda owner. I was looking at Toyotas and Hondas, and would not have considered a Hyundai if he had not suggested it.
I looked at several reviews of the Sonata online before going to CarMax and looking at their selection online. I really liked the looks of the car, but the main reason for buying it was the warranty and the service record of the Sonata.
I have been very pleased, as I have had 0 problems so far with the car. It handles well, and my only concern is that the engine is a bit small and the acceleration could be better.
Well, I have been driving my 2004 Sonata for nearly four years, and I still love it. It has proven to be quite a reliable car with very few major repairs apart from the normal major services. The only real issue I have had was a windshield that needed replacing, and that can happen to anyone.
My car still looks very good both outside and inside. I'm proud to show it off, and proud to recommend Hyundai to anyone shopping for a new car.
My only regret is that I did not wait one more year for the '05 Sonata, which was the first of the newer ones out.
