This is the 3rd Hyland's product I've used for my 2 year old grandson and I love them! We started with the homeopathic teething tablets which worked great and he loves to take them! Based on this, I tried the Hyland's Cough syrup. It works, but he doesn't love the taste of the honey. However, my husband used it for his cough recently and now swears by it. So it was an easy decision when I needed cough and cold medicine. For my toddler's cough and runny nose, the Hyland's Cough and Cold works great. It also works fast and he doesn't mind taking it. He definitely rests better after taking it. I would highly recommend this product!

This is a great product! I'm very conscious about the medications I give my children. I don't like giving them any over the counter products besides Tylenol. I had heard so many horror stories about parents accidentally giving their children a little too much cough medicine, and the children died. After hearing that, I absolutely refused to give my children any cough and cold medicine until I found this. I have been a fan of Hyland products since my kids were babies. I always used their teething pellets instead of baby orajel. If I can find a natural version of a product, I ALWAYS use that instead. A lot of natural products don't even work, but every Hyland product I have tried does. My oldest son complains about the taste of this cough syrup a little bit, but he still takes it. It's not a miracle, but it doesn't help a lot. When my kids have a cold, I give this to them at night to keep them from staying up all night coughing.

I first bought Hyland's Cold 'n Cough 4 Kids when my children had a nasty cold to give them some relief until the sickness was over. While looking at all the options on the kids medicine aisle, what drew me to Hyland's was the natural nature of this product. Having used their natural teething relief gel with great success with my babies, I thought this would be another good natural option. I was happy to find that it worked even better than I expected! Many ingredients in over the counter medications aren't exactly great for your health. I love that this is a healthier option that still works just as well as the other more mainstream ones! It greatly relieved my children's cold symptoms, and helped their coughs tremendously. It also works really fast. Within thirty minutes of a dose, we could tell a big difference. I am really happy with this great natural product from Hyland's!

I have to say upfront, that this is not a "cure" for a child's common cold. There is really nothing out there that is. Saying this, this is about the closest thing you can get to cutting down the time of a cold. With all natural ingredients, you don't have to feel like your child is overly medicated either. This product has helped my son's throat feel better during the roughest moments of his sickness, and helped to minimize his boogies. I feel like my son can rest comfortably on this medicine, and that is a great feeling for the parent of a sick kid who can hardly breathe. It also minimizes coughing. During the last stages of a cold, a consistent cough can really hurt a child's throat and sleep. I noticed that my son was sleeping better and had much less pain when he was taking this Hyland's cold medicine. I will continue to buy this product because I know I'm in for many more colds now that my kid has started school!

My children had caught a horrible cold. They had running noses, mild sore throats and than stuffy noses and dry coughs. We came across this product and first of all loved the fact it was a natural cold n' cough syrup for kids and safe for our 2yr. old. Which is great since there are not a lot of med out there to help a 2yr.old and up when they are stuffering from a cold. This product actually does a great job too, we found if you kept up with giving it every 4hrs as it said, it helped ease the symptoms of the stuffy nose and there cough was little to none. As long as you kept giving the med around the required time until the symptoms seemed to really improve than did the product indeed really do a good job with helping ease the cough. Very good product will continue to buy this product for my children when they have a cold.

We are not big fans of using lots of medicines when it comes to minor things like colds and coughs. We prefer to keep things as natural as possible. The few times we have ever tried cough and cold products for our kids, they have not really done much to help anyway. Recently however, our children were sick and we finally decided to try something besides the honey and humidifier that we had been using. Our five year old had a really bad cough that was keeping her up at night. I went to the store and found Hyland's Cold n Cough 4 Kids. I liked that it was natural and did not have the harmful ingredients that many cough syrups and traditional medicines do. I decided to buy it to see if it would help with my little girl's awful cough. I got her home and gave her a dose. First of all, it was very easy to get her to take this. She said it had a very pleasant, sweet taste. It did not taste strong or "gross" like some other kid's medicines do. I was glad that it was so easy for her to take. Second, besides just a good flavor, this stuff actually worked! I was surprised that within a short amount of time, we noticed a real difference in her coughing. She went to bed and slept very soundly, only coughing a little bit. It really did seem to make a difference. We gave her a few more doses over the next few days, and each time this stuff worked just as it said it would. I am very happy to have found Hyland's Cold n Cough 4 Kids. It offers effective cough relief and I feel good about giving it to my kids. I can highly recommend this product for any family!

No parent likes to hear their child cough and struggle with stuffed up noses. I personally don't like to give my child medication that my doctor says they are not even old enough take (but then suggests we give it to the child anyway...) Enter Hyland's Cold'n Cough. I feel better knowing there is something that I can give my babies without fear of negative side effects. Why I trust Hylands: I called our local poison control and asked what I should do if my 20 pound child had two times the recommended dose of another popular cough medicine. We were told to take them to the hospital immediately. I later called and asked what I should do if my child received three times the recommended dose of Hyland's. I was told everything should be fine but if I was concerned I was of course free to take him in. If poison control suggests this..I'd suggest not giving those name brand meds to my kid. Hylands is affordable and easy to administer. It can be found at most retailers and can be given a few times a day (unlike the ones that can only be given 1-2 times at most. I would highly suggest this to any of my friends with kids that haven't yet tried it!

I was sketpical about using this product because I didn't think it would work. Because regular cough and cold medicines are not good for kids I decided to give it a try. It does work, but not extremely well. It helps the cough and the cold symptoms, but does not take them away completely. The bottle is very small and if all three kids need it I run out very quickly. Luckily, it's not too expensive. My two and four year olds don't seem to mind the taste, but my six year old thinks it's horrible. She would actually rather not take it than to have to taste it. Although this product doesn't work as well as I would like, it is better than nothing and I feel good knowing that it is completely natural and safe for my kids.

As a mom, you don't want to see your kids suffering but you also don't want to give them medication that may harm them or treats more symptoms than they have. I bought this Hyland's Cold 'n Cough 4 Kids on sale to have on hand during the flu season. We have not gotten the flu thankfully but lately we've had plenty of colds, runny noses, and coughs. This formula is safe for kids ages 2 and up, is clear (no artificial colors), tastes great (no artificial flavors either and is sugar free!) and seems to really make a difference. I gave my six-year-old daughter a dose of this when she couldn't seem to stop coughing, and it was interfering with her sleep. This homeopathic remedy really did seem to make a difference, and she didn't mind taking it since it tasted good. This can be given every 4 hours as needed. There are several Hylands medicines for kids for different combinations of symptoms so you can choose only the symptoms you need to treat.

I purchased this cold medicine at Rite Aid when it was part of their rebate program because it was an inexpensive way to purchase cold medicine for my 4 year old son.  I wasn't expecting too much from it but was very pleasently surprised by it.  My son usually will not drink other medicines for me and we have never had a problem with getting him to take the Cold 'n Cough 4 Kids. Let's face it...a cold medicine can't work unless the child is willing to take it!  The fact that it can be used with kids as young as 2 makes this a great product.  The first time we used it I thought it worked very well to clear up my son's ruuny nose.  The next week my neighbor's 3 year old daughter came down with a cold and I sent some over for her to use so that she wouldn't have to make a special trip to buy cold medicine.  She was impressed buy the way it worked and the fact that she could give it to her 3 year old and has since gone out and purchased her own bottle.  I have had good luck with it helping my son with his cold symptoms but at times it doesn't seem to do as good of a job.  Not sure if it is because of different symptoms or a different cold.  I do like the fact that it is a homeopathic product!
