Most of the staff was great . Making everyone feel like a rock star.Every thought and desire was met as if you were the only person on their list to please for the day. If I asked for more coffee at breakfast is was met with a "my pleasure". The only concern was that when we arrived the room wasn't as clean as I would've liked and there was a discrepency on how to get the maids to come clean the room. i assumed they did unless you put the privacy please sign on the door and we came back to an uncleaned room for the day. In all fairness they did say they would send them back that evening if… read full review »

We were offered an upgrade for $30 per night. That got us onto the 8th floor facing the ocean. I caught the sunrise each morning and enjoyed the view of the marina. The size was more than adequate with a nice flat screen lcd tv. The mattress was very comfortable and soft. This hotel charges guests to park their car on site ( $19 per night ). This is on top of your room rate. You can do valet parking for $23 per night which is what we did. I never spent the extra money on valet parking before this vacation and I hope I will not have to do it again. The extra money spent on tipping… read full review »

The Hyatt has a nice property. Pools and surrounding areas are very nice. Many of the rooms are 100's of yards from the lobby. They do not tell you when you check in where your room is and if you have a walking problem you are in trouble, unless you have a room in the tower($$$). However, after you realize how far you have to walk, a request will bring you a golf cart for transportation. Obviously this adds time to whatever you want to do. Restaurant facilities are very limited unsless you take a cab. Top of the hotel restaurant is not open. Other available eating places are either bar… read full review »

The Hyatt Pier 66 has a nice layout and a resort feel. However, the rooms, while comfortable need to be updated at least in the Garden Area. The walls need paint. While a minor detail, it would have made a better impression. Staff was friendly, in-house dining was outrageously expensive and the service was fair to poor. Would not suggest eating at the hotel. Nice pool and attentive service there as well. Didn't like the hidden charges of $12.00/day for a resort charge, plus between $19.00 and $23.00 a day to park your car. That's an additional $31-$35 a day they're socking… read full review »

When we first arrived at the resort, we were put in a room that was unsatisfactory. After I spoke to the manager, our room was up graded and our stay was perfect. My only complaint is that they need to take care of the rooms on the marina side of the resort. But aside from that, the resort was the perfect choice, very beautiful.. We also put alot of use to the trolley that came every 15 minutes for .50 cent per person:)Dining: Short Walk, ride the trolley from thursday to saturday til 9:40pm. Also be sure to hit the weight room and spa during your stay. —… read full review »

The Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty Six, FORT LAUDERDALE, FL was overall OK. I liked the location. It is close to the mall, restauranta, beach. I did not like the fact that we had to pay for parking. My husband hated the fact that our rooms were located in another building other than the hotel. The bed was very comfortable. The room service was not good after the 1st 2 days: Less towels, trash not emptied, floor not vacuumed.Dining: Short Drive, Try the blue martini. Very fun with a life band and nice waitresses! —… read full review »

The Hyatt Regency Pier 66 had a great location, but our room was about a quarter mile of walking from the front desk. I'm handicapped, and it made it extremely difficult to get to the room without stopping several times. I felt that the people that delivered our room service were aggressive about tipping and didn't speak English....until they wanted to do so. The room itself was roomy and very comfortable, and had great location right on the canal. I guess one has to pay more than I am willing for… read full review »

Just stayed one night. My room was not ready at time of check-in, so they checked to see what was available and did not hesitate to upgrade. I had a special request for a bottle of champagne to be in my room when I came back (it was a night of celebration) and they came through. Nice people, excellent location, very attentive. Definitely will stay again.Recreational Attactions: Short Drive, Take a short cab ride to the beach, and try some of the cafe's along the side road. —… read full review »

I was very impressed with the Hyatt Regency in Ft Lauderdale. I looked at a lot of hotels before choosing this one. It was beautiful, clean, great amenties. The rooms are spacious, up-to-date, very clean and comfortable. Best beds ever--and I travel a lot. Great location, friendly staff, great place!!Recreational Attactions: Short Walk, The beach and great stores are near! You are in walking distance of everything that you need. The hotel is in the process of renovation and everything is inconvenient. The rooms are reasonable for its price and the amenities acceptable. The opening hours of the gym and swimming pool are unrealistic: 7am to 7pm. Most guest with business matters would not be able to relax therein. Food is rather high priced for what they are. Although I have to say, the food is reasonable. The fact that they allow a late check out of 2pm for my late departure flight is… read full review »

The Hyatt at Pier Sixty Six was very comfortable, the room with king bed was very neat. The bathroom was clean and its looked everithing was new. I don't have any complaints except for the TV movies system that didn't work. For people like me that love boats, its spectacular with the dock right next to the rooms. The Pelican Bar has a beautiful site just next to our dream yachts.Dining: In Hotel, 17 St. Causeway, intersection with Fed highway #1 —… read full review »

If at all possible whenever I travel I try to stay at a Hyatt Hotel. I was in town for a funeral and they made it possible to check in early so we could change and go the funeral. It was a very pleasant experience under otherwise sad circumstances. Thank you Hyatt!Dining: Short Walk, There were so many wonderful places to eat many walking distances from the hotel —… read full review »

The Hyatt Pier 66 room was very clean, comfortable, and roomy. I also liked the large pool. It however is undergoing a remodel which was inconvenient and made it very confusing to get around the property. Additionaly, it only had a shower in the room, no bathtub.Dining: Long Walk, The water taxis can take you to multiple stops for dining and entertainment. —… read full review »
