Hyatt Regency Dallas was an absolute pleasure in terms of staff and accommodations. My stay on the 19th floor had a beautiful view of the city. The location is perfect for anything downtown - dining, entertainment, site seeing, et cetera. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the room is plenty big.... read full review »

There were no light bulbs in 3 of the lamps-there were bulbs but they were burned out. There was a razor blade on the floor near the bed. Our breakfast was delivered and the OJ and the toast had no cover on them. We also got a towel that was dirty.

We spent 3 days here while in Dallas on business.  We received great service from all the staff, beginning with the bellhops and valets and ending with the manager.  I was a little disappointed with the food options.  Their were two small restaurants and a bar that served a limited selection.  Most of the options were overpriced and would not have been very kid friendly, had we been traveling with the children.

The Hyatt Regency Dallas had very comfortable rooms. The beds and pillows were incredibly soft and you just sunk right in. With the exception of the restaurant, the service within the hotel as well as its valet and bell staff was impeccable. The courtesy and extra mile given to us as a group (a very LARGE group!)was everything we could possibly ask. The restaurant, unfortunately was the exception to the rule. On two separate occasions and different meal periods, I had to search out or ask a manager for our server to visit the table, both for the first time!! As busy as the hotel was they didn't... read full review »

The Hyatt Regency attributed to a most pleasant stay in Dallas. Our nicely decorated large room was very clean and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. It is conveniently located directly on the DART system and only one DART stop from the convention center and one DART stop from a large restaurant district. The staff is superior. Check-in and check-out were immediate. They were very helpful with directions, maps and taxi services. We would definately stay here again.

Dining: Short Walk, Restaurant district just one DART stop away. Many old buildings have been renovated to house restaurants...

The Hyatt Regency is a beautiful hotel with outstanding staff in an historic area of Dallas. If you are a conspiracy buff, it is a must. Rooms overlook Dealy Plaza, the site of the JFK assassination. Rotating restuarant in Reunion Tower is a added treat. Two Drawbacks: Any shopping is a drive from the Hotel, so if you need incidentals, getting them is a chore. Gift shop should be larger and better stocked for this reason. Also, flush mechanism on toilet in our room was broken in 2 places. The toilet ran and vibrated incessantly until I performed some DIY plumbing. This should have been... read full review »

My encounters with the staff of the Hyatt Regency Dallas were very satisfying. Whether it was check-in, dining, concierge, valet parking - everyone was very friendly and helpful. My stay at the Hyatt Regency Dallas was one of the more satisfying experiences I have had while traveling on business.

Money Savers: Not Applicable, Dallas Love Field is much closer to this hotel than the larger more popular DFW airport. Good for saving on cab fare. The only drawback is that it is difficult to get direct flights going into and out of Love Field. It usually requires flying from a lesser - known...

I did really like the hotel but the staff at Guest Services could of been more friendly because every time I would call them and they would answer my question I would say thank you and have a good day and they would just hang up the phone. Also I did not like that they didn't have free wireless internet after paying that much for a hotel they should provide free internet I mean internet is not that much.

Dining: Short Walk, The dining at Reunion Tower was very nice. I love you rotate in a circle while you eat dinner its very nice at night because you call see all of Dallas. Also their is the JFK...

My co-worker & I had a nice stay there, however after a hard day of working at our facility located in Dallas, we wanted a GOOD dinner. We didn't want to drive far or really anywhere for that matter. We dined at one of the two places inside the hotel. The Italian place was CLOSED & the hours posted showed it was only open on weekends! By no other choice, we went to the other place. The service was HORRIBLE. It took an HOUR to get an appetizer and longer for dinner... it was just NOT the idea I had in my mind after a LONG day. The rooms were nice, although I sure wish the small sundries store... read full review »

The Hyatt Hotel in downtown Dallas is a beautiful facility. The staff were helpful and made our visit even more enjoyable. The room was clean, relaxing, and comfortable. We took a taxi to our concert at the American Airlines Arena and walked back to the hotel after. We Then took another cab to the West Village area. This area is filled with shops, restaurants, and bars. We will stay at the Hyatt the next time we visit Dallas.

Nightlife: Short Drive, The West Village area was a nice place to hang out.

This was a perfect place for a romantic rendezvous. The hotel was wonderful with the glass elevators and the flowing water in the atrium. The room was very spacious and the king bed was very soft yet extremely comfortable. The Antares restaurant at the top of Reunion tower was a perfect place to dine and have a gorgeous view of Dallas.

Dining: In Hotel, Try and checkout a little early to prevent any excessive waiting. If you love to people watch, this is an excellent place to do so!

The Hyatt in Dallas truly embraces the city's pioneering history, love of art and spaciousness, and the local flavor of pretentiousness. The hotel is a fantastic property that provides luxury at an affordable price. If you go to another metropolitan city, this room would have cost me upwards of $350. You get your money's worth.

Recreational Attactions: Short Walk, You are centrally located; therefore, everything is within a few blocks or short car ride away.

The Hyatt is a nice hotel, when I arrived there the staff was very friendly. One thing I noticed was there were a lot of guests. At first, I just thought this is a very popular hotel. Later I found out a company was having some kind of banquet. So, as you can imagine, the lines were very long when it was time to get your car because they have valet parking.

Nightlife: Short Drive, Mall is only 15 mintues away...

Hyatt Regency, Dallas is one of the best hotels that I've stayed in. Location was good, food was excellent (chicken noodle soup was to die for!). The staff (especially the person who cleaned my room) was very eager to accomodate. I'd stay there again if I am ever in Dallas.

Shopping: Short Walk, great shopping mall, dallas arena is close by. neighborhood is great for walking in the am or pm.

My back hurt for a week after staying at this hotel - the beds are super-soft and have a thick pillow top, making it very high (so that you almost have to hop on it), and making for about a 6 inch sink-in when you lie down - very much like the Sleep Number bed commercial. The pillows were worse - all fluff - however, we requested firmer pillows, and those were immediately brought in.

Thought the stay was great. The customer service available at the front desk was exceptional. Room had a great view. The pool was a little smaller that I thought it would be, but either way, I would recommend the stay here.

Dining: Short Drive, We got around the downtown area much faster than we thought we would.
