There's a reason this place is always packed. The food is good, the prices reasonable, the waitresses attractive, and the atmosphere festive. They're famous for their 2-for-1 specials and of course their legendary burgers, shakes, and massive onion rings.
They tell me the chili's pretty good, too. I'll have to try it next time I'm in.
The restaurant has been around for over 50 years, and you can still see some of the original wallpaper by the front entrance.
An Austin institution.

Austin Texas bills itself as the "Live Music Capital", but it's also a carnivore's dream destination with TONS of exceptional barbecue restaurants, plenty of great burger joints, and more than its fair share of hearty steak houses.
Beef is definitely what's for dinner in Austin, and a local favorite for decades is Huts Hamburgers on Sixth Street.
It's got a great atmosphere, like stepping back into a small town '50s era diner, with leatherette booths and friendly waitresses who are happy to share a smile with you. There's a boatload of burger choices awaiting you, so let your own preferences...

This place has great food that you'll remember for a long time. They have a various hamburgers named after different things, and many of their other offerings are delicious. Their onion rings are face-sized -- seriously! -- and their milkshakes are amazing.
