Quiet Flo True Hepa Replacement Filters (model 30940) are designed to clean the air for a year, but these replacement filters run about $35 at Lowe's and must be replaced about once a year with normal continuous use.

Hunter claims that these hepa filters capture "99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns...
