We have owned our Hunter Care-Free Plus humidifier for a few years now. So we have had a chance to use it many times. I love that it has a permanent filter that does not need to be replaced. We have had no issues with it lasting and performing as it should, even after many uses. The humidifier has a high and a low fan setting, which I like. We use the high setting when we are first turning it on and turn it down to low once we have gotten some humidity into the air. This seems to work the best for maintaining a good humidity level in the room we are using it in. We have used this in many rooms of the house and it has worked well in each room, even the bigger rooms. It adds humidity without a lot of noise. It doesn't take a lot of work to get it ready to use and it is easy to understand the settings. It can be a bit heavy to lift the water reservoir when it is full, but that is not a major problem for us. This humidifier is especially helpful when the kids are sick. Having the humidifier running really helps to relieve sore throats and our kids cough much less when it is being used. This humidifier has held up very well and we have been pleased with the value we have gotten from it for the price we paid. I can recommend it for anyone who wants to add some moisture back into the air in their homes.
