I have several Hunter fans in the house I just rented. I normally hate having a ceiling fan on when I am trying to sleep but this fan is sooooo quiet! I am amazed that I can have it on high because my room stays too warm even though the air is low. I can't sleep when a fan is making noise. Hunter fans are the best at being quiet. My fan has a remote which works perfectly. It has two different lighting features, an upper light and a down light. The Hunter Ceilng fan is one of the best products I have ever purched for our home. We find that regardless of the speed which the fan is set at there is never the rocking, rattling noise associated with many fans. — I have one in all three bedrooms, family room and even in the kitchen. I moved to Florida from Massachusetts 4 yrs ago and moved into a mobile home....hard enough to keep cool ...I had Hunter fans installed in every room even the master bath.  Who wants to put on make-up, shower off or have a sit down read without a HUNTER fan in the bathroom.  Tried it did not like it at all. I own a Hunter ceiling fan in white.  I love it because it provides a cool relief like you are outside with a nice breeze from the water.  It is not very loud, but provides a light hush that drowns out some background noise.  It is a wonderful product that I am planning on buying for each room.
