My son has a problem with having night mares and when he does, he comes into me and husband's room so that he can sleep with us. When he first started sleeping with us he would usually climb on to the bed and sleep on the edge. We have a king sized bed that is high off the ground and he would often roll off of the bed onto the floor. Then I bought this family co sleeper and it has helped a lot. The pillow at the end is good for keeping my son from falling out and me and my husband lay on the sleeping pad so that no matter how hard my son leans on the the pillow that stops him from rolling off, it does not roll out by itself. This pad is expensive, but it is worth the price. The pad is made of organic cotton material that is nice and soft. I also like the way that the pillow at the end is detachable. That feature makes it easy to store away when we do not need it. The pillow sometimes take a while to insert into the opening and I usually have to struggle  with that task.

Okay so don't let the price of this fool you it is more than just a pillow and it's more than the totally plush organic fabric it's made of. It helps you safely Co-sleep with your newborn, infant, toddler, and before it even does that the pillow is detachable and makes the most wonderfully soft and comfy maternity pillow you can ever purchase. The pillow itself is adjust in the fact that you can add and or take out the stuffing to adjust the firmness or softeness that you need. Which I thought was a neat idea since after awhile any pillow after lots of use will get kindof smushed out. So you can fluff it back up with more stuffing for the next pregnancy. Now the cost is one of it's only cons. I wish they made it a little more affordable BUT if you factor in the price of how much a crib + matress costs this is an absolute bargain! Plus you can trust that you have your child sleeping on an plush organic bedding. It's totally worth that in my opinion.
