Hulk Smash Hands Review

My 4-year old grandson is his superhero phase, and is a big fan of the "good guys" like Batman and The Incredible Hulk. I was browsing Amazon.com and saw Hulk Smash Hands by Hasbro and knew I had to get a pair for him. When he saw them for the first time, his eyes got as wide as globes. I've never seen him so excited!

Hulk Smash Hands are giant, puffy, cloth-covered hand mitts with a soft grip bar inside. Slip your hands inside, hold onto the grip, and either swing, punch, or smash them together. With each forceful movement, the hands come alive with sound effects and phrases like: "You're making me angry" and "Hulk Smash" and other assorted growls. The batteries (3 AAA included) are housed in a plastic unit and pouch hidden inside the right glove.

The hands are fairly large, but I think that's part of the fun of them. My grandson feels powerful and loves going after the imaginary bad guys. As with any electronic toy, the noise factor may get annoying after awhile, but the sounds aren't overly loud or obnoxious.

I enjoy knowing that my son is getting a lot of energetic play from the Incredible Hulk Smash Hands by Hasbro. Even though I wouldn't class this as an educational toy, it does offer hours of creative play and gives us opportunities to discuss topics like right vs.wrong, good vs. bad, self-defense vs. bullying, and much more. On second thought, maybe it is more educational than I initially gave it credit for.
