The DVR is a nice device. I very rarely am burdened by long, boring, commercial breaks in programming. We verty rarely watch programs at the time they are playing so you are allowed to speed through TV ads, commercials, etc. Season pass helps one to obtain all episodes of a favorite program. It does decrease your desire to leave the house. It is difficukt to watch all the media that we have recorded, but I can't imagine life without it now.
