I would definately reccamend Huggies wipes, especially in a big package. Huggies wipes are the only name-brand wipes I have found that, when sold in a big package, is not overly-packaged. All the wipes are in one bag, instead of having several packs of wipes in one bag. This is imporatnt to me because I cut the wipes in half length-wise so I don't have to use as much to change a diaper.
I have a two-year old who wears diapers to bed and a nine month old full-time diaper-wearer. When I change either of them, I've noticed a lot of times I don't use the whole wipe. If I am changing a wet diaper, I like to wipe them just so they feel a little fresher. THis does not require a full wipe to do so. I realized I hac been essentially wasting wipes because of this. Also, if I am changing a dirty diaper, when using full wipes I would use two whole wipes. Since I've been sutting them in half, I now only use three half-wipes, which equals out to one and a half wipes.
I find Huggies wipes to be a good value because of the cutting in half factor. They cost about the same as Pampers wipes, and I could cut the Pampers wipes, I know, but it would be a lot more difficult, as I would have to take them out of their smaller packages. With the Huggies wipes, I can just open the bag when I get home from the store and cut them all up right away without having to fool around with other, smaller packages. This saves me time which I feel I would just be wasting if I had to take the wipes out individually to cut them if I bought another brand.
