It wasn't until my son turned 9 months old that I decided I should try other brands of diapers. I had been using Luvs diapers since the day he was born because they were inexpensive and seemed to be doing a good job. So far I have tried three different brands: Luvs, Huggies Snug & Dry and Target brand diapers. Target diapers come in dead last, Huggies Snug & Dry are by far the best and Luvs is somewhere in the middle.
Although Huggies Snug & Dry diapers are more expensive than the other two brands, I believe that you usually get what you pay for. That is certainly the case with Huggies Snug & Dry diapers. The first thing I noticed was how much thicker they are than Luvs. They are a lot thicker in the front than they are in the back. That is important because that is where most of the absorbency is needed.
Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers have a Mickey & Minnie Mouse theme on the front and back. Besides the amazing absorbency, my favorite thing about these diapers are the tabs. Luvs has a sticker type of tab that doesn't stick very well and then becomes unattached. These diapers have a Velcro tab that can be attached and unattached without affecting the effectiveness of the tabs.
The Scoop!
Even though these diapers cost a little bit more than cheaper alternatives, they are worth every penny. I don't get leaks with these diapers, which saves me the time and money it costs to keep rewashing sheets and clothes. I would definitely recommend these diapers.
