Huggies Snug and Dry —

I used to LOVE Huggies diapers.  They weren't a terrible fit for my girls and they did a decent job at keeping them dry.  I used to get coupons for them all the time so they fit in my budget, which is a plus - I love getting a deal.

For some reason, the last few packages that I have purchased have been terrible.  They are incredibly saggy, if my daughter has a looser stool than normal it's been leaking out the leg holes, and pee has been seeping through the fabric even when the diaper is just kind of wet.  (I understand that if you leave a diaper on a kid too long that it's going to leak no matter what, but I'm talking about an hour or two!)  I think I'm going to have to stop buying them - I kept thinking that I just got a bad batch or something, but they haven't improved in the last couple of purchases.  My sister (who has 4 children) just mentioned to me the other day that Huggies were leaking for her too.

I wonder if they changed how they are made recently or if the fact that I've purchased them from Walmart makes any difference?  (Are the Walmart ones made in a different place?? I sincerely doubt it, but you never know I guess.)

I hope they improve soon.  I'm not sure why they would go from being my favorite brand to junk... has anyone else noticed this???

I completely agree that Huggies are not made of the same quality they were just a few months ago. I have stopped buying them.

YES! I have twin boys, age 3 1/2 mos. I used Huggies when they were first born, and they worked just fine. Now, forget it! They leak through the leg holes all the time...they're breastfed babies, so their stool is normally on the looser side. I now use Pampers exclusively.
I think that the company who makes Huggies must be cutting corners or something. Maybe they're trying to justify their bargain price and coupon availability by giving us cheap quality.
I will say though, the ONLY positive, is that they do hold a full pee pee diaper pretty well. But, we moms really need a diaper that covers all areas...no pun intended. :)
