Huggies Pull Ups with Learning Designs Training Pants Review Summary

Potty training parents are turning to Huggies Pull Ups since they are “more like real underwear.” Huggies Pull Ups are easy to pull up and down giving little ones “a good sense of felling like they are getting to be a big boy or girl.” The Velcro closures on the sides make for easy changing, especially when on the go. Reviewers do describe Huggies Pull Ups as “very absorbent for accidents,” yet recommend using the nighttime Pull Ups for bed time as the Learning Designs will tend to leak overnight. As babies grow older they transform into toddlers and one of the signs of toddlerhood is the transition from diapers to toilets. Fortunately, there are many products available to assist with making this changeover and one that we purchase with great frequency is Huggies Pull Ups with Learning Designs...

We are potty training! My Pull Up of choice has been Huggies Pull Ups. I'm not sure if I like them or not. The ones with the Learning Designs don't seem to teach my son anything. The Cool Alert at least makes him uncomfortable. I don't think they're helping him learn when he needs to go, but he is learning...

These work great for my extremely busy, active toddler.  The easy-open sides are perfect for those occasions when you're on the go, but that also means having to keep an eye on her, since she figured out pretty quickly how to undo them.  Also, if my daughter moves around too much, they can stretch out and slide down.  The most annoying thing about these diapers, however, is that they don't come in large enough packages, like most diapers do, so you wind up having to buy lots of packages at a time.

I am taking care of my Grand Daughter, and we have recently been in Potty Training.

Huggies Pull Ups Training Pants With Learning Designs Diapers have made it Alot easier.

They are alot like panties, or underwear so she has been able to get used to the feel of pulling them down, and up to go potty.

They tear of easily, but not Too easy where you have to fight to keep them on.

She loves them, and they make her feel like a Very Big girl.

She wears them all day, and has Easily adjusted to being able to pull them down quickly at the potty when she has to go.

And they are very absorbent for accidents, and...

OK...well I am going through a rough potty training stage right now! My 2 1/2 year old daughter is sooo darn stubborn that I feel like pulling out my hair! I swore I would never use pull ups but here I am using pull ups for abour 6 mos now!

My oldest daughter was trained within 2 days...I thought this wouldbe the same!!! Boy was I wrong!

Pull ups do have some great incentives!!! My daughter LOVES that there are princesses on her pull ups! She likes to chose which ones she will put on! She also likes that she can put them on herself....as a 2 year old loves to do! I happen to love that the sides...

Our experience with Huggies Diapers have been a less than desirable one.

We have had major leakage problems. I know they are not diapers but they will not hold large urine consumption.

Due to them not holding a lot of accidental liquids, they give my daughter diaper rash so bad she can't wear anything on her bottom. Within 2 days of changing to another brand, her diaper rash went away by itself.

The velcro sides are not suitable either. If you unfasten them, they will go back together but do not stick as well & tend to fall off.

Although the velcro sides make it easy to change a mess one, this...

My daughter is potty training, and I use both diapers and Pull ups with her, depending on what's on sale.  I recently tried the Pampers Easy-Ups, and there is no comparison!  I love the Huggies Pull Ups!  One thing that I really like is that the tear away sides have velcro so that can be reattached.  After my daughter messes in them, I can open the sides, take it off, neatly roll it up, and seal it closed using the velcro.  I find them to be as absorbant as other diapers.

I like the soft pink color and my daughter loves the princess designs.  They are very cute on her.

The Huggies Pull...

Huggies Pull Ups Training Pants with Learning Designs  are a great tool for first time potty trainer.  Using Huggies is great for daily use and my two year old girl enjoys being able to pull them up by herself.

I have tried several other types, but always come back to Huggies.  Having the ability to open the sides and remove and replace pull-ups without having to take all of the clothes off is a great asset at home, and especially when visiting family, going to the mall, or at a restuarant.  It saves times and she loves the characters on the front.  The Huggies Pull Ups Training Pants with...

Pull-ups are a great next step for your toddler as you're ready to move beyond diapers and look ahead towards potty training.  The pull ups can be put on like underwear, or the velcro sides allow you to open it up and put the pull-up on like a diaper.  Those options give lots of flexibility.  Pull-ups make changing easy, especially when you're on the go and don't always have access to a changing table.  And the velcro sides mean you don't even have to take off the child's pants, just unvelcro them, then refasten.  Kids love the cute designs, and the pull-ups are very absorbant.  I do find... read full review »

We started training our 2 yeard old and used the "underware" method. We went out and bought some super hero underware which worked great at home but if we were going to be away from hom we had to find a better solution. Huggies Pull ups are great the side elastic is great you can detach it for the messest of messes. Our son loves the car design they have now and we make it into a game with the learnign designs. We tell him if he can keep the Cars there he will get a prize. He does pretty good but of course still has his accidents. The only down side to the pull-ups is that when he does have an... read full review »

Huggies brand pull-ups helped our son through the first stages of potty training. He was not quite ready for big-boy underwear all day long because he only used the potty for pee, not poop (it is not fun to get that out of underwear). We tried Pampers brand pull-ups, because that is the brand of diapers that we preferred. However, the Pampers brand have no way of sealing closed in a nice package when they have been used. You have to just throw them out and we all know the stink involved when they are not at least bundled:(- Anyway, a friend of mine suggested Huggies brand pull-ups because they...

This is the best pull up to not only teach potty training but to stop leaks! My now oldest daughter loved the disney princess pattern but the cool feeling when she started to pea alerted her to use the potty!

She loved the comfort and the ease of being able to pull them up herself like a big girl. She also, was able to remove them just as easy thanks to the pull apart seems.

We have tried other brands but this brand is the most effective for our household. The cut and shape of the legs are perfect for little girls there is not an uncomfotable feeling between their legs.

I just wish I had thought of patenting this idea in training pants!  I had the old fashion cloth training pants with my son and what a mess.  These are being used with my grandson and what a wonderful idea they are!  They are leak resistent but not leak proof but they are still a huge improvement over the cloth pants.  They contain solid waste well and are easy to get on and off.  The potty training is a work in progress but this has made that issue a lot easier to deal with.  I highly recommend these to the traditional training pants.

I am so thankful for Pull-ups!  For all three of my kids - I would have had a constant mess on my hands, not to mention furniture and carpets!

I like how you can rip the sides quickly for easy removal... I do wish that they were biodegradble as it takes like 50 years to break them down.

My kids liked the designs... it was helpful to have the markings on the front that showed you whether the kiddo was wet or dry... great product!

We started training my daughter about a month ago and these are working great.  She has just started telling me she has to go instead of me telling her it's time in the last week.  She loves her princess pull ups but is also obsessed with Dora so it's unfortunate Pampers easy ups have the rights to those!  I like the Huggies so much better.  Less leaking, better fit to her shape, they come up higher on her, great overall product.
