Huggies Natural Fit Diapers Review

Lucky, me, two children were in diapers at the same time. However, they didn’t wear the same sizes and of course they also had different needs. During my quest for the perfect diapers for either one of them Huggies Supreme were tried on for size.

Features of Huggies Supreme Diapers
• Softer, cloth exterior (not slick plastic like other diapers)
• Winnie the Pooh/Eyore design
• Soft cotton like inner padding
• Absorbent
• Close fitting elastic legs to prevent leaks.
• Larger tabs and fasteners-more stretch for a better fit.
• Overlapping sizes so it’s easy to move from size to size without gaps.
• Velcro tabs east to re-fasten, stays in place, good fit.

My Viewpoint: Huggies Supreme are better than regular Huggies Diapers – in some ways and in others they are not. The fit and comfort are much better than regular Huggies or many other diaper brands. The cottony texture gives the impression that it is also more environmentally friendly (it’s not by the way). Extra flaps, adjustable elastic, and high quality Velcro tabs also put these diapers a bit above the rest.

However, the use of Huggies Supreme is limited. I wouldn’t recommend them if you are doing the frequent, runny changes of a breast fed child. Also, once your child starts moving the elastic fitting legs are a nice tight fit but with more “output” there is less “efficiency” with that soft cotton absorbent pad.

While I like the comfort and the fit, those have a limited period of time that they are needed with your little one. After that you really need not only fit but absorbancy and Huggies Supreme while better than many other diapers have a limited period where they are the SUPREME disposable diaper.
