I am clearly not the target market for this restaurant. As the first restaurant executed by the next generation of the Lettuce Entertain You juggernaut, its clearly aimed at a younger, hipper crowd. Frankly, its not the kind of place I would select, but I was meeting a much hipper friend.
The crowd was there to see and be seen, the space was huge, well decorated, and full. The service was fast and friendly, but not pushy. The menu was all over the place with a slight bent toward Mexican (albeit a rather fancy version), but there are some winners for sure.
My friend had the turkey meatloaf and declared it excellent. I had a fried egg and bacon sandwich. You would have to work very hard to screw that up, but this was really good, if light on the eggs. The fries were great. And we had a chance to try the carrot cake which shouldn't be missed.
