Hp pavilion zd7000A Review

I purchase this HP pavilion zd7000A laptop about 4 years ago and it has served me very well.  It only has 1 GB of ram but it stills runs programs quickly.  It had a minor issue with a video card that was known to overheat but HP replaced it at no charge.  The screen has a resolution of 1680 x 1050 and has bright view technology which is awesome when watching movies.  It also has media center installed which allows use of a remote and also watching TV through a small converter box that was included.  It has also traveled without incident to the Middle East two times.  However, it is really a desktop replacement because it weighs about ten pounds and can weigh you down if you travel with it a lot.  I have only recently begun having problems with it freezing up.  It has frozen twice in the past four years but a hard restart has always fixed the problem.  It has a media card reader built in and it really nice to download camera pictures without having the camera cable to connect it to the computer.  Overall this is a great laptop that has continued to do well even though it is considered out dated technology.
