I received this computer as a gift from a group of friends who really enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons Online,  a MMRPG that, unfortunately, is limited with a Mac as my primary computer. I love my iBook, and the interface that is Mac os X. I have had limited experience with a laptop with Windows XP, so this was a huge jump for me into the PC world. I was a little scared of the VISTA situation, as this computer came pre-loaded with Vista Home Premium. Having never, ever dealt with a blue screen of death, I was afraid.

These fears have been, for the last year and a half, unfounded totally....

 The HP Pavilloin Entertainment PC Notebook is an excellent laptop. I have used it for e-mail, Paintshop Pro, Photo, Word, and of course browsing on the internet.

I haven't had it all that long, but so far I haven't had any problems with anything that has to do with the computer itself.

 The processor is so fast, I'm amazed. Speedy, speedy.

 The extra programs were easy to install. And not really all that expensive. Well, I am having some trouble installing updates, says it needs to, then it cancels installation on its own.

I am a college student, and as such, am always on the go.  I don't have time for lagging internet, or slow-loading programs, or a long wait before my DVD plays.  My laptop was my life saver between classes and in the free half-hour in the morning that I had to do my lab report.  I have loaded hundreds of programs onto my computer, and it hasn't slowed down a bit.  It is extreemely sturdy durable.  The widescreen is an awesome feature, as well as the built-in keypad (I was a cashier for a while and find this easier to use than the one line of numbers across the top of the keyboard).  I can...

The HP Pavilion Entertainment PC is a powerful machine. Because of its 4 GB RAM It is fast. The screen is clear and images are sharp. I love having a dedicated number pad on the keyboard. This is a simple thing; but one of the most practical features of this laptop. The power, media and bluetooth controls are located above the keyboard. Not only do they look modern and sleek but their location inhibits the user from accidentally changing the settings. Another great feature is the 300 G hard drive is also large enought to store lots of photos and music in addition to other files.

This HP Pavilion laptop is a very good pc.  The only thing that we have had go wrong is the charging cable had to be replaced.  We have watched blue ray movies and have it full of song to listen to all of the time.  I would recommend it to anyone!
