Clean room, comfortable bed.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also clean. The two problems I found in my room: a wall lamp with the switch inside the lamp base unreachable it had been pushed through the hole in the lamp base; the lamp was on so I had to unscrew the lightbulb to put it off. The couch next to my bed had the seat cover broken in several areas showing the sponge filler material. Both problems were reported to the front desk and they diligently put the request in a clipboard to maintenance. I believe the people who take care of the rooms should have reported those problems and have those problems fixed before customers use that particular room. I, also, could not find my room number from driving around the parking. The room was inside the building and not visible from outside although, there are rooms that their doors are facing the parking. Despite those shortcomings, the fact that the room was very clean and the hotel staff was very warm and friendly were positives experiences that make me consider that hotel for my next stay, the bed was very comfortable not too soft nor too firm and I was able to spend a very quiet and restful night. The Cazuela Mexican Restaurant is next to the hotel and the food is excellent. The hotel is a short drive from The University of Georgia and downtown Athens with its many restaurants and amenities.
