How to Look Good Naked with Carson Kressley Review Summary

Fans love How to Look Good Naked With Carson Kressley so much, they report they'd be willing to "take if all off for Carson." While that may be taking it too far for most fans, most are in agreement that this Lifetime reality show has a way of "handling body issues sensitively," and they look to host Carson Kressley (former costar of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and judge of Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants) as the reason. Most women identify with the plights of the women seen on How to Look Good Naked, as they, too, are tired of the TV shows that "make the heavier woman/girl feel like crap because we are not a size 0." Not only does Kressley give the women a make over, he is "changing their mind about how they see themselves, dress and spirit." Fans of How to Look Good Naked report that when they're having a down day, they watch a rerun of the show to "feel rejuvenated." "When a gay man spends an hour trying to get a girl naked, great things can happen."

I have been one that has been up and down on the scale many times and most TV shows make the heavier woman/girl feel like crap because we are not a size 0.

"How to Look Good Naked" with Carson Kressley (Carson is from the show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"). (another fav of mind) Is a great host for this show. The women on here are iffy at first, but they will put all their trust in him and the out come is amazing. Not only for the person he is making over, he is changing their mind about how they see themselves, dress and spirit. This show helps the viewer at home too.

Intro
Sometimes we get help in unlikely places. There aren't many women out there that are always happy and content with their body and image, whether they're heavy, thin, or average. There's always something that makes us look at our naked bodies and cringe. We now get to see that it doesn't have to be that way. We can change not the way we look, but the way we feel about the way we look. This help comes on behalf of Carson Kressley on his new reality series, How to Look Good Naked.

Premise
Carson meets with women and works with them to see that they don't need to be ashamed of their bodies. We know...

Wow.  When a gay man spends an hour trying to get a girl naked, great things can happen.

I was skeptical when I first heard about this show, but as I watched, my heart warmed more and more!  Carson was not objectifying or exploiting these women!  (Well, maybe a little, but it makes for great TV!)  He was releasing them from their self-hatred and the chains of bad body image!

I watch every episode of this on on-demand, and if I'm having a down day, I'll put on a re-run.  I always feel rejuvinated after watching this; my self esteem is boosted vicariously.

Way to go, Carson.  Heartwarming fun....

All the commercials for the show made me curious.  One night while my husband was rapidly clicking thru channels, I made him stop.  He actually watched the show with me.

I found the show to be interesting, informative, and uplifting.  The premise of the show is to show us how we percieve ourselves is not how others may see us, boost our self esteem, and teach us how to make the most of what we've got.

The show starts with the "woman of the day" standing in front of the mirror pointing out all the things she dislikes about her body.  Our host Carson then goes to work, telling her not to worry...

I have tried not to miss any of Carson's shows......truly.  I find that what he is doing for women is one of the most powerful things in a lifetime. He is kind and compassionate and at the same time he is truthful.  I hope the show stays on the air forever..............and maybe other people will begin to see that it is who we are and not what size we wear that makes us great.

I wish that more television "reality" shows were about empowering people to be happy within themselves and not the other way around. I love Carson's approach, his boldness and the fact that he is himself all the way.

THIS SHOW IS A FABULOUS SHOW TO SEE FOR THOSE WHO EVER THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE NEVER A PERFECT SIZE. THIS SHOW TEACHES YOU TO BE HAPPY WITH YOUR BODY AND NEVER TO PUT DOWN ON HOW YOU LOOK. THAT YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL PERSON INSIDE AND OUT AND THAT WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE THINKS DOESN'T MATTER.

This show is so stupid.  It intimadates the contestant.  It makes the person a comodity and not a real person.  Whoever participates in the show is either looking for attention, money or fame.  Their inhibitions are nil.
