I have been one that has been up and down on the scale many times and most TV shows make the heavier woman/girl feel like crap because we are not a size 0.
"How to Look Good Naked" with Carson Kressley (Carson is from the show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"). (another fav of mind) Is a great host for this show. The women on here are iffy at first, but they will put all their trust in him and the out come is amazing. Not only for the person he is making over, he is changing their mind about how they see themselves, dress and spirit. This show helps the viewer at home too.

review »All the commercials for the show made me curious. One night while my husband was rapidly clicking thru channels, I made him stop. He actually watched the show with me.
I found the show to be interesting, informative, and uplifting. The premise of the show is to show us how we percieve ourselves is not how others may see us, boost our self esteem, and teach us how to make the most of what we've got.
The show starts with the "woman of the day" standing in front of the mirror pointing out all the things she dislikes about her body. Our host Carson then goes to work, telling her not to worry...
review »I have tried not to miss any of Carson's shows......truly. I find that what he is doing for women is one of the most powerful things in a lifetime. He is kind and compassionate and at the same time he is truthful. I hope the show stays on the air forever..............and maybe other people will begin to see that it is who we are and not what size we wear that makes us great.
I wish that more television "reality" shows were about empowering people to be happy within themselves and not the other way around. I love Carson's approach, his boldness and the fact that he is himself all the way.
