My whole family LOVES How the Grinch Stole Christmas so much, we tend to watch it year-round!

Based on Dr. Seuss' book How the Grinch Stole Christmas, this 2000 movie production is directed by Ron Howard and stars Jim Carrey.  Unlike the Seuss movie The Cat in the Hat, which was a HUGE bomb, How the Grinch Stole Christmas will delight viewers of any and every age.  The visuals are gorgeous, the narration is calming and pulls you into the story, and while the visual humor captures the kids, the verbal humor will capture the adult's attention.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas 2000 remake has many interesting aspects, but it is not the original.  Whether or not you are a fan of Jim Carey, this movie isn't very Carey'esque.  I really enjoy the acrobatics which go on in the background throughout the movie.  For those who onl really noticed the foreground, let me elaborate a little on this.  The producers wanted a real Seussical type of environment with the movie, which, given it is real life and Seuss is very much imagination, would normally prove difficult.  They decided to hire acrobats to show off there skills in objects that they...

How the Grinch Stole Christmas is a definite kids film due to the fact that it has lots of crazy dressed characters, with a wholesome plot and a happy ending.

My grandchildren will sit for two and three watchings in a day, they enjoy the movie so much. Their giggles, smiles and laughter throughout the movie are a plus for any parent to hear. Jim Carrey plays the part of 'Mr. Grinch' so convincingly you almost believe that he is real.

I do not have any cons to say about this movie because it truly is a feel good holiday movie to watch at Christmas time if not year round.

This is avery good family movie everyone will enjoy I like all of Dr Sueiss books and films. If you have childern i recommend this movie all my childern just loved it. although my little grand daughter is scared of the grinch. She is only 3 years old. Ron Howard is great Directer. i really enjoy his movies.Buy it you won't regret it I have watched it over and over and never seem to tire of it. It makes you laugh and cry beleive me
