How I Met Your Mother Review

This is a show that my now-husband introduced me to when we first started dating.  I had seen it on t.v. before, but never got into it.  Once you understand the basic premise that the entire show is taken place in flash backs, it's incredibly easy to follow and just a joy to watch. We look forward to it every Monday evening.  It's the only show that we really missed during the writer's strike!

All of the characters are very well developed.  Ted is the loveable guy, that my husband says he can relate to -- the hopeless romantic looking for love. (It definitely helps knowing that he ends up married, otherwise it might just be sad!).  Every new relationship keeps you wondering if SHE'S the mother. 

Jason Seagle (sp?) plays Marshall, and he's probably the funniest character on the show.  He and Lily are happily married, which is something you just don't see on t.v. -- at least not in such a committed, happy, funny way as they pull it off on this show.

Robin and Barney also provide a nice dynamic to the show. I would recommend this to anyone that's looking to be entertained with a light hearted show about friendships and love.
