I thought sitcoms were dead, but HIMYM seems to give some hope!

a movie buff, Likes to be entertained, watching chick flicks, into action flicks, a comedy fan

relevant, A protaganist who is pretty balanced, Funny, Smart, Witty, A great mix of characters, Eye candy for both sexes

Cons

Should be an hour long every day, Not on enough

How I Met Your Mother —

HIMYM was a pleasant surprise. I had more or less loss interest in TV because most of the shows are now are either reality shows or just poorly written. This show is funny and hits the heart at right spot too! my boyfriend and I usually watch it together because it has something for everybody. Definitely recommended.
