If you are picked for a party, you will receive a welcome pack and supplies (varies depending on the type of party you were picked for) and online support, ideas, etc. to help make your party a success.

Houseparty.com is a wonderful site that allows you to apply to host parties thrown by different companies. The idea is to get people to host a party and invite all your friends. Various companies then supply you with samples and/or products that you use to host your party and give to your attendees. Therefore, they get their products into the hands of lots of people while you get to party with your friends.

If you haven't signed up to THE HOUSE PARTY website, DO SO NOW! What girl or guy wouldn't love to have their friends and family over to try the latest new products ABSOLUTELY FREE? I discovered houseparty less than a year ago, and this is one on my favorite, and the most fun site, I have yet encountered. I am on my third party, and absolutely loving it. The first was a preview of a new cartoon show coming out. That party was for my 4-year-old son and his friends. Then I hosted the Greenworks party, which was actually a clothing swap / donation. Now I am anxiously awaiting my 'Safe & Bright' holiday party. I received my kit today and it included all the necessities to make a holiday wreath. Hey, this idea is great, and our friends have hosted several parties we have attended. So we figured we'd try, and try, and try, and try. I have been trying for the better part of a six months to get a party to host here. I work from home and I'm available to organize things more than my wife. So, naturally, I was the one applying. I never got selected for any party!
I tried for 5 parties and never got selected!
In the mean time our friends continue to apply and get picked :) so... my head starts thinking. what's different. In our case it is me applying, in their case it is the wife applying....
