House of Nan King is not a fancy chinese restaurant that you can sit and dine in, but believe me, just go there, eat and enjoy the food, they are delicious, unique and do not have the typical chinese preparation and taste. If you are looking for authentic chinese food, this is not the place for you because their food are fusion of chinese and western cooking and ingredients, and I really recommend people in the Bay Area or visiting San Francisco to try this restaurant.
Tender calamari is my best choice. If it will be your first time to try the place, trust the chef/owner Peter Fang and let him decide what to feed you. Again, don't expect any special attention or service from the start you wait in line outside up to taking your table and ordering food, just wait for the spectacular meal you'd finish in your table. I'm sure you'll love this place like I do!
