I first visited The House of Blues at Mandalay Bay when I went for a concert, and I had no idea the restaurant served up great food as well. This is a great place to go to enjoy a tableside concert and amazing food. For starters there is the Voodoo Shrimp and Crispy Catfish Nuggets. They also offer delicious soups like clam chowder and large salads. I love the entrees because they feature fresh sandwiches that come with a sweet potato salad. My favorite is the Portabello mushroom sandwich which is so good. They also offer a pulled pork selection and smoked brisket. The prices are great for such a unique atmosphere. For entrees enjoy the meatloaf or fried chicken as well as tastes of the south in the spicy jambalaya or red beans and rice. For your sweet tooth, save room for the white chocolate banana bread pudding or the Sinful Triple Chocolate Layer Cake. They also offer tasty breakfast fare which is best enjoyed to the songs of the Gospel at their Gospel Brunch on Sundays where you can enjoy southern biscuits and gravy to the sounds of gospel. I love the music and the food here and it is a great place to dine for any meal.
