It's rare that I find a new show to watch that I just can't miss. I had actually heard people talking about the series, House, for a long time before I even gave it a chance, but once I did, I was hooked.

Using this DVD from season one, I was able to get caught up on my new favorite show. I look forward to each new episode and wonder what kind of rare complication they will have to pick their brains to solve next. Not to mention who will be flirting with who and how moody ole House will find a soft spot for someone.

I think I like the show as much as I do because of the lead character, House. He is complicated and hard to figure out. He puts on a very tough exterior to hide that he is really lonely and in pain. He tells people off all the time, patients and co-workers alike. His co-worker don't always see through the rough exterior and feel unappreciated, but he always manages to keep them in the end and smoothes things over just enough to let them know they do their job well and he needs them.

I think House is one of the better dramas on TV now and I highly recommend watching it if you haven't already.

good brief review. It's a well-written show but the House character and superb performance take it to the next level.
