This dictionary gives a definition, but the definition is usually very complicated, if not too long to understand. I have to go search a few words in the definition it gives me sometimes, which takes up more of my time. It is very detailed however, and I really enjoy using the dictionary. It also covers a wide range of words; almost any word that is unknown will be found in this dictionary. I recommend it for older readers, such as those in high school and beyond; the word choice is more suitable for them, as opposed to elementary school children and middle school children. Overall, this is a very satisfactory dictionary and I recommend it to be in a household, as it covers a variety of words.
