I am a senior at Houghton College and I cannot imagine being anywhere else for my undergrad studies! Houghton is a positive Christian atmospere where one is free (and encouraged) to question their beliefs and struggle and discuss the difficult questions in life. Professors are not only masters in their fields but they genuinely care about students and are with you every step of your college career.

A rural Christian liberal arts school, ample international ops.

Houghton offers a variety of well-reputed degrees, however it is not a good location for those interested in cultural hot-spots or night-life as it is so rural. There are quite a few study-abroad programs which make for a much more diverse learning experience. The school seems to be leaning toward progressively more liberal views.
