Most HelpfulWhen I was pregnant, I was so excited to be a baby-wearer! I even purchased a heavier car seat, figuring "well, I won't be transporting baby much in it, as I'll be carrying her in my sling." So I went on the internet and searched for several days, reading tons of reviews, to find the perfect sling. ...
review »I have or have had just about every carrier on the market. An unadjustable sling like the hotsling is a great easy type of sling to use during casual activity. I say this because leaning over may result in your child tipping or falling out. The sling is not unsafe but as with all carriers you have to use caution and limit what you do while carrying your child. I use this primarily around the house when my son wants to be held but I have things I need to do and need my hands free. If I am out walking or running after my toddler I opt for something that offers me and my baby more supports like my...
review »I really enjoy baby-wearing, and was hoping that the Hotsling would work well with my son. I was excited to see they were sold at Target, but they only carry the smaller sizes. From the chart on Hotsling's website, it looked like I would need a 6. I bought one, and found that it was really tight across my shoulder when my 8 month old was in it. I traded a friend for a size 7, and found that was too loose for him.
I think the concept is great. They're very sturdy, and the materials are gorgeous. I have no idea how to do any carry besides a hip carry - it seems like if a baby wasn't...
review »I bought a hotsling after having my 3rd child. She desperately wanted to be held all the time, but that became very challenging with 2 other little ones. Once I bought the sling, my daughter was so comfy and cozy--it probably felt like being in the womb again since she was so snug by my belly.
For me, it allowed me to have both hands free to play with my other children, prepare dinner, eat meals, etc.
Now that my youngest is just about a year, I can use the sling as support instead of using my arm muscles to carry her on my hip. We just recently went to a children's museum where no strollers...
review »Hotslings pouches are beautiful, simple, and surprisingly comfortable. They work from birth through toddlerhood, too, unlike the ugly and more expensive frontpacks they often compete with. Don't let the simplicity of design fool you into thinking it doesn't work, or that something with clips and straps would be better ... Hotslings pouches are quite comfortable and utilitarian. They fold down small enough to easily stash in a diaper bag, and they work for carrying a baby on your front, hip, or (with a baby with head and torso control) back. I remember getting admiring comments at a fast...
review »I wish I had one of these when my oldest was an infant. Of course, times have changed and new products are always being introduced. I was an avid user of a front pouch carrier - even when it killed my back. After having a near mishap with the front carrier, I knew it was time for a change.
I bought this sling when my fifth child was about a month old. He LOVED it! He loved being cuddled and close to me. I was able to get things done around the house and go about my shopping in the stores or attending to my other children with two hands.
If he had to nurse, it was easy for him to do...
review »I LOVE my HotSlings Stretch Baby Sling/Wrap. It is my lifesaver. It is amazing. My daughter is 7 months old and has been in it since she came home as a 4 pound, one month old preemie. It is very safe. It holds many different aged babies. My daughter seems very comfortable in it. They even sent me a DVD to teach me how to fold and wear it the many different ways that it can be worn. It is super stylish and cute. I adore it. It stays with me at ALL times. My seven month old lives in it (especially when I am trying to cook dinner). :-) My only con is that it has to be fitter...
