Hotpoint Standard280 Review

The HotPoint Standard 280 is the noisey-est refrigerator that I have ever heard. Luckily I no longer own one.  I had lived in a Condominium and this Refrigerator combination Freezer is what I had, and after 1 year, shortly after the guarantee was gone, it no longer sounded like the quiet of an ocean, rippling  by its own waves; it sounded like a train that continuously rode over the same stretch of track, over & over again.  Back then I had just started my Legal Education and as I had to be up by 5 a.m. to start a very long day in school, the refrigerator had made enough noise where I could almost tell what hour it was as the longer the hours in a day had passed the louder this refrigerator became.  I usually awoke by 5:00 made coffee by the pot and at the first morning opening, the refrigerator motor would start to purr, and by the time I reached my home in the late evening, what scared me the most was walking the carpeted hall to my Condo  and hearing that motor as loud as traffic was right off the street.

 After graduation, the first thing that I replaced once I moved,  was the Refrigerator.  It is a Good one,  I know this because I can barely hear it.  LOL  Whirlpool 24.8 Stainless Steel  Side by Side, Bottom Mount Freezer.
