This dryer came with my apartment, and it's horrible! You can load it up with a standard size load and it will sometimes take 2 hours to dry! I have never used a gas dryer before, but was warned that it might dry clothes fast and to watch out!...well don't worry about it with this dryer Pros: It's white? Gas heated...maybe cheaper than electric... Cons: Sometimes takes 2 hours to dry a load Load Capacity It holds quite a bit, but it really doesnt matter since it is probably better just to load it with a few things so it actually dries them faster Performance Drying time is atrocious, especially for a gas dryer Ease of Use OK, not many settings...high, medium, and no heat...timed dry, regular, and wrinkle free Durability If the start button says anything about the workings inside, this thing will not last long. The start button has to be pulled out and turned so it catches on the mechanism to actually push the button and its made of plastic you would see on a fake button on a kids toy...aka..its broken! Hot Point dryer do the work, dry clothes on the promised times, however, it may clog esasily and it does ot bring anything new. very traditional. Load Capacity It is a large machine, good for large families but limited strenght though. Performance It performs well, but nothing above expectations, it looks and seems fragile. Ease of Use Very simple to use. Durability Frist time I own a HotPoint but it does not seem too reliable to last too long. Design Design is also very simple.
